Best Chicken Wings Ever!!!

Best Chicken Wings Ever!!!

So those of us that know me,  know that I am not a really fan of yardbird.  (chicken)   I find that most of the time, when I am having chicken it comes covered in sauce and the chicken does not really stand well on its own.  This recipe changes that!  It's simple to make and they come out crispy skinned on the outside, moist and delicious on the inside with a ton of FLAVOR!

What you will need:

Start by blending 1/2 bottle mmFLAVORco Chipotle Ranch Spice into 1 qt buttermilk.   Pour mixture into gallon size ziplock bag or tall skinny tupperware container.   Completely submerge chicken wings into this buttermilk marinade.   Put container in the fridge and forget about them for 24 hours.

24 hours later.......(anyone else picture spongebob?  bet you did now.  You're welcome!)

Mix 1 cup corn starch with 1/2 bottle mmFLAVORco Chipotle Ranch Spice

Preheat oil to 350 degrees F.   You can use a deep fryer or large pot for this.  I recommend a non inflammatory, trans fat free oil.  Peanut oil will work the best if you are not allergic.   As always, remember to be very careful the when working with any hot liquids.

Remove chicken from buttermilk chipotle ranch marinade and place onto a cooling rack or cutting board.  Let sit for 5 minutes to let any excess marinade drip off.

Place chicken in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle corn starch/spice mixture over the chicken until you think there is enough to lightly coat all of the chicken with the mix.   Toss wings in bowl adding more starch/spice mixture if needed until all side of chicken wings are lightly coated with seasoning mixture.

Carefully place chicken wings into oil for 6-12 minutes depending on the size of the wings.  (until internal temp reaches 160 degrees F)

Remove from oil and place on cooling rack or paper towels for 2-5 minutes

Enjoy the Yummy Goodness you just created!

These come out so moist, and juicy, full of FLAVOR with a crispy golden skin that just pops you in the taste buds with every bite.   It's almost sacrilegious to me, but when I'm in the right mood, I would put these wings up against even the best cooked ribeye.
